Student Productions

The All Area High School production was started in 2017 with a cast representing several area high schools performing Disney’s Beauty and the Beast: The Musical. In 2018 the High School kids presented West Side Story.

The productions take place at the end of June, with auditions and rehearsals starting in the spring.  For details and information on sponsoring the production call 620-225-1001, or email our Director John Stuff.

The 2019 production will be “A Funny Thing Happened On the Way to the Forum”.

Destination Center Stage is the student division of the Depot Theater Company. Students going into 4th grade through High School are eligible to audition and get a once-in-a-lifetime, hands-on experience on the thrill and enjoyment that is live theater.

Our 2019-2020 Season will include the Youth Performance of Law and Order: C-rhyme and Pun-ishment. Show dates are August 1-4*. This show is open to 5th graders-12th graders, but the show is middle school aged. Audition information can be found here.

Each Spring the Depot Theater Company hosts a week long Spring Break Theater Camp for students. Students learn all about the workings of a production and the theater, from memorizing lines and blocking, to makeup hair and costumes. Students are also taught about set building and lighting and sound for productions.
