Each Spring the Depot Theater Company hosts a week long Spring Break Theater Camp for students.

Where: Depot Theater Company (Homestead Theater)

Time: 9:30 A.M. – 4:30 P.M. (lunch provided at noon)

Who: Actors 4th– 12th grade

Join us for a week long workshop that’s all about Shakespeare! Each morning we will learn a new aspect of the theater and how it pertains to the Shakespearean time. Every afternoon we will work on the production of Shakespeare Unbound. This play involves a disgruntled high school student who throws pages from a book of Shakespeare’s plays into the trash. Macbeth’s witches, Puck, Juliet, Katherine and Petruchio from The Taming of the Shrew materialize from the trash barrel and tear up the gym and frighten the teachers in a comedy of errors.

To join us, please print and fill out the registration form. Payment is due at the time of registration. If you have any questions please contact Sheri Tieben sheri@depottheaterco.com or at 620-225-1001. There will be a $40 fee to participate in the workshop to cover cost of food, props and costume items. The workshop is subject to change depending on enrollment.
